HOW TO LOOK?

It is good to have in mind that the map is not the territory. You can prepare yourself before you enter unknown places to yourself. It is of course wise to do so. But remember it is not the same. In order for something to happen you must leave the known. Be brave, be a Hero. We know that there is a danger on the edge of town. Lower your expectations and heighten your observations. Be the “flaneur” the one who wanders between places and people looking for something “new” or news! Be the curious voyeur – make your research exciting. Don´t listen so much – look for things and register the signs and the icons. Map them and ask yourself what is this? What part of sign system is this? Have I seen this before? Where? Study people, places and things visually?
